Venue House Rules:

• The venue is hired for 3 hours or a full day only, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

  The party/hosting parent may arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled party start time to ensure that the tables and setup are arranged to their satisfaction.

  The party/hosting parent may also stay an additional 20 minutes after the party to collect personal belongings and ensure that everything has been taken.

  Please note that any early arrival before the allocated 30 minutes or staying beyond the additional 20 minutes will incur an extra charge.

• Adult supervision of children is required at all times during the party.

• It is the responsibility of the adults to see that kids do not vandalize property and equipment.
• Children and adults enter Peek-a-boo’s venue at their own risk and it is the responsibility of the parents to look after the children.

• Any breakage, damage, or vandalism to equipment, toys, and décor items will be charged accordingly, and the breakage fee stated on our quotations will apply.

• The booking fee specified on the quote must be paid to secure your booking.
• No provisional bookings without payment.
• Please note that only internet transfers are acceptable since the venue doesn’t have card facilities.

• Outstanding Balance: If the outstanding balance has not been received by the time the party is scheduled to start, either by cash payment or proof of payment, we will unfortunately be unable to proceed with the booking.

  In such an event, we will be required to pack away the setup and cancel the booking.

  Please note that we do NOT accept payment or settlement of the outstanding invoice after the party has ended. The full outstanding balance must be settled before the party starts.

• Completion of the indemnity forms are needed before the party starts. 

• The Venue don’t have a kitchen or fridge or microwave.

• WE DON’T GIVE THE FOLLOWING: Serviettes. Urn, coffee or tea, any cutlery & crockery, braai equipment, firewood or charcoal. You need to bring in yourself. To Hire our Urn, it is R65.00 extra.

• No Camping chairs or camping tables are allowed in the venue’s. If you require additional tables or chairs, these must be arranged with us in advance and will be charged at an additional cost. Please note that adult chairs are already included in your package and venue hire, so there is no need to bring your own chairs.

• All additional electrical equipment or machines brought into the venue will incur an additional electricity fee per machine.

  The following equipment will be charged at R200.00 per machine:

  • Candy floss machine
  • Chocolate fountain
  • Popcorn machine
  • Portable fridge

  The following equipment will be charged at R50.00 per machine:

  • Urn / kettle
  • Microwave
  • Desk fan
  • Hot tray
  • Balloon inflator
  • Any other small electrical appliance
• We DON’T allow Slush puppy or ice cream machines at our Venue’s.
  

• All slides and castles have an age’s restriction of up to 12 years. No adults on our castles and water slides, soft play please.

• NO PRESTIK OR TAPE IS ALLOWED ON THE WALLS, ROOF OR BACKDROP.

  A R150.00 fee will be charged if any Prestik marks or damage caused by tape are found.

  There are brackets provided on the walls for you to hang your own décor if needed. Please make use of these instead of using Prestik or tape.

• Please note: No paint, crayons, pens, slime, or playdough are allowed on our wooden kids’ tables or white chairs, as these items may cause permanent damage to the furniture. If you require tables and chairs for activities, plastic activity tables and chairs can be hired at an additional cost of R20.00 per set, which includes 1 yellow plastic table and 4 yellow plastic chairs.

• When booking your event or party, please take note that all additional children and adults entering the venue, above the number included in your quotation, will be required to pay an entrance fee. (Please note: This applies to kids' parties only.)

  • Adults: R10.00 per person
  • Children: R35.00 per child

  If you would like an additional child to be seated at the kids' table and included in the kids' table setup, the fee will be R95.00 per child. 

• We will not be held responsible for power failures and weather conditions.

• No external Party Planners are allowed to plan events at our premises.
  

• NO SMOKING UNDER THE BIG ROOF OR IN INDOOR AREAS.

  You are welcome to smoke at the braai area or outside the venue in the designated smoking area next to the parking.

• NO MUSIC allowed at our premises.
